Lone Shark - Spoke Duster EP
(2005)
The opening track "The Fly Trap" sounds as if one day Mr Aphex woke, rubbed his eyes, glanced around his room at his banks of musical equipment and technical gadgetry and decided to tinker with some electro rhythms. A devastating production. Track three "Underground" gets into your subconscious with some dark ambient drones for the opening forty seconds, then lets rip with metallic muted clanks and a crunched up groove.
